Innerverse, Inc. ("we", "us" or "our") operates the Within app and related websites (collectively, the ""Services"). Through our Services we provide tools to facilitate you to improve your mental health. This Privacy Policy explains how we collects, uses and discloses information about you when you are using our service.
Information We Collect
Account Information
When you register an account you need to provide your name, email address and a password (password is not needed if you are using Single sign-on service such as Apple Sign-in or Facebook Sign-in) We retain information on your behalf for your future log in.
Device Information
We collect the information of the mobile device you use to access our Services including the device model, operating system and version, network connection type and carrier.
Self-Talk Session Information
We store the Self-Talk sessions you record. In the recording flow, or later, you are able to make the session public or private. When you make the session public other users may be able to access it (including the emotion type, tag, voice in the session and other information associated with the session).
Usage Information
Whenever you use our Services, we collect usage information such as the sessions you listen to, features you access and other similar types of information.
Log Information
We collect standard log information including IP addresses, app version, date and time of the access. In case of a Service crash on your mobile phone, we collect crash log and related information.
Support Information
We collect other personal information you voluntarily provide to us when you submit us feedback, survey or contact us via email. If you choose not to provide us with certain information it may limit the feature and support we provide to you.
Use of Information
We will use the information above to
Provide you with basic Services and customer support;
Communicate with you about our Services that we believe may be of interest to you;
Improve the quality of Service such as bug fixing and feature improvements;
Monitor and analyze trends, usage and activities of the user base;
Detection of fraudulent, unlawful or unauthorized use of the Services
Sharing of Information
We share information about you in certain conditions below
Between and among the Company and our current and future parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and other companies under common control and ownership;
To third party vendors who provide services for us such like email service providers;
In connection with or during negotiation of any merger, financing, acquisition or dissolution, transaction or proceeding involving sale, transfer, divestiture, or disclosure of all or portion of our business or assets;
Comply with relevant laws or to respond to requests from law enforcement or other government officials relating to investigations or alleged illegal activity;
If we believe your actions violate our user agreements or polices;
With your consent or at your direction. For example, you may choose to make one of your sessions public or share it on a third party social media;
Aggregated and de-identified information such as total number and different emotion ratios of our community as a whole. The aggregated information is shared as community dashboard with all the users using our Services or with research organizations to help facilitate their researches.
We do not sell personal information to third parties. We do not share information with third parties in order to allow you to see any advertisements.
Your Control
You can review or change certain of your personal information in the Services such as your password. You can stop all the collection of information by uninstall our Services on your mobile phone via the standard uninstall process. If you want to delete your personal information and your account, please contact us at support@choosewithin.com.
You may opt out of receiving promotional emails from us by following the instructions in those emails. If you opt out we may still send you non-promotional emails such as password reset email.
You can activate or deactivate our mobile push notifications in our Services or the settings on your mobile device.
Child Usage Restrictions
Our Services are not directed to children under 17 years of age. We do not collect or maintain personal information from people we actually know are under 17 years of age. If we learn a user is under 17 years of age we will take steps to remove personal information of that user.
CCPA
This section provides additional disclosures required by the California Consumer Privacy Act(CCPA).
The identifiers we collect includes first and last name, email address, IP address. The internet or other similar network activity we collect includes usage history of our Services. The specific types of personal information we collect are described more fully in the section “Information We collect”. And the use of information and sharing of the information also is mentioned in the sections above.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share information with third parties in order to allow you to see any advertisements.
Subject to certain limitations and exceptions, the CCPA provides California consumers the right to request to know more details about the categories and specific pieces of personal information, to delete their personal information, to opt out of any "sales" that may be occurring, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
California consumers may make a rights request by emailing us at support@choosewithin.com. We may verify your request by asking you to provide information that matches information we have on file about you.
Users outside of the United States
Our Services is based in the United States and processes information in the United States. It may not provide equivalent levels of data protection as your home jurisdiction.
If you are a non U.S. user of the Services, by accessing our Services and providing us with information, you acknowledge that your personal information may be processed for the purposes identified in the Privacy Policy and you consent to such transfer.

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make change we will update the date at the top of this policy or send you a notification. We encourage you to review the privacy policy often to stay informed of any updates.
